Abs Workouts with Sophia: Core Strength Made Simple

Sophia used to believe that abs were for gym enthusiasts with unlimited time. She then found that just a few minutes every day and a corner of her flat, she could have a strong core.

She began with a plank, wobbling through twenty seconds while giggling at her unsteady start. Those seconds eventually turned into minutes, though, and her core became to be a quiet powerhouse she was unaware of.

Her exercise are a love letter to simplicity. She will roll a mat and flow through crunches, feeling her abdominal tighten with every lift. She will then twist into Russian twists, picturing herself washing the tension from the day.

Sophia keeps it amusing; occasionally she may plank while her cat swings at her hair, turning sweating into a game. She now understands that a strong core is about standing taller, moving more naturally, and feeling consistent in her skin not only about appearances.

Sophia’s advise: Start from where you feel comfortable. A thirty-second plank or a handful of sit-ups can set off something major. She would advise you to inhale through the burn and see your core as the foundation of every movement—lifting, walking, even dancing. It’s more about outward radiating strength than about six-packs.
