  • Ashwagandha: Shown in studies to reduce cortisol by up to 30% and improve sleep quality. Ideal for chronic stress sufferers.
  • Rhodiola rosea: Enhances mental stamina and combats fatigue—perfect for burnout-prone professionals.

  • Holy basil (Tulsi): Lowers anxiety markers and blood sugar swings linked to stress eating.
  • Reishi mushroom: Supports immune function while promoting relaxation through triterpenes.

Georgia stresses good use: “adaptogens aren’t quick fixes; they build resilience over weeks.” She advises riding them (6–8 weeks on, 1–2 weeks off) and matching with lifestyle adjustments like digital detoxes.

She advises newcomers beginning with ashwagandha tea or tinctures, stressing that quality counts: “Look for organic, third-party tested extracts.” Medication users should see a doctor as certain adaptogens interfere with thyroid hormones or blood thinners.
