Layla James’ Gluten-Free, Dairy-Free Ideas for Every Meal

Adopting a dairy-free and gluten-free way of life changed Layla James. “Once I changed my diet, my energy levels skyrocketed; I used to struggle with bloating and tiredness.” she says. Layla has you covered if you’re seeking quick and great supper ideas.

Breakfast: Smoothie Bowl

Layla first fuels her morning with a nutrient-dense smoothie bowl. “I toss frozen bananas, almond milk, and spinach; top with fresh berries, coconut flakes, and chia seeds. Dairy-free, creamy, and great!”

Lunch: Sweet Potato & Black Bean Tacos

Layla enjoys preparing sweet potato and black bean tacos out of gluten-free corn tortillas for lunch. Sweet potatoes and black beans used together are healthful and satisfying. For more taste, I toss avocado and lime juice.

Snack: Roasted Chickpeas

Layla notes, “My weakness is crunchy snacks.” She cooks roasted chickpeas seasoned with sea salt and paprika instead of manufactured chips. “They are the ideal snack since they load in protein and fibre.”

Dinner: Zucchini Noodles with Cashew Cream Sauce

Tossed in a creamy cashew sauce, zucchini noodles are Layla’s favourite supper. “A wonderful dairy-free substitute for conventional cream-based sauces are cashews. I mix them for a cheese taste with nutritional yeast, lemon juice, and garlic.

Eating dairy- and gluten-free does not entail giving up taste or variety. “It’s all about creating meals you love and experimenting with wholesome ingredients!” Layla reports.
