Tessa Blake’s Anti-Inflammatory Smoothies for Everyday Wellness

For Tessa Blake, wellness starts with her blender. Every morning, she whips up a vibrant, anti-inflammatory smoothie packed with ingredients that fight bloat, fatigue, and brain fog. “It’s my daily reset button,” she says.

Everything from melancholy to knee trouble has been connected to chronic inflammation. Anti-inflammatory foods, however, like berries, leafy greens, turmeric, and omega-3 fats, can enable the body to recover and flourish.

Blueberries, spinach, flaxseeds, almond milk, and a little turmeric make Tessa’s preferred smoothie mixes. “It tastes fantastic and I know I’m giving my body what it needs,” she adds. She occasionally tosses frozen pineapple for a tropical flavor or ginger for digestion.

The key, she explains, is choosing ingredients that support cellular health without added sugars or artificial ingredients. “I skip the flavored yogurts and juices,” Tessa says. “They’re sneaky sources of sugar.”

She also likes adding a scoop of plant-based protein to keep her smoothies filling. “If I’m going to replace a meal, I need something that lasts,” she explains.

Smoothies are a quick, customizable way to get nutrients in — especially on busy mornings. “You don’t need a fancy recipe,” Tessa smiles. “Just pick a few whole ingredients and blend.”

Since making smoothies part of her routine, Tessa says she’s noticed clearer skin, better focus, and fewer afternoon crashes. “It’s one of the simplest wellness habits I’ve stuck with — and one of the most effective.”
