Norelle Vast’s Gut Health Shakes for Post-Workout

Norelle Vast never skips her post-workout shake. For her, it’s more than just recovery—it’s a ritual that keeps her gut happy and her energy steady long after leaving the gym. Having dealt with bloating and irregular digestion in the past, she discovered that the right blend of ingredients could transform how her body responded to exercise.

Her journey started when she realized protein powders alone weren’t enough. She needed something that nourished her gut microbiome. That’s when she began experimenting with kefir, Greek yogurt, and plant-based fibers. “The first shake I made with kefir was a revelation,” she recalls. “It was creamy, refreshing, and I felt light instead of sluggish afterward.”

Norelle often combines probiotics with fruits rich in antioxidants, like blueberries and kiwi. For added muscle recovery, she blends in plant proteins or collagen powder. What makes her shakes stand out is the attention to digestion—every sip is designed to calm the gut while fueling the body.

Friends who try her recipes often tell her they feel energized for hours without the crash that comes from sugary shakes. And Norelle believes that’s the whole point: nourishment should restore, not deplete. “When your gut is balanced, everything else feels smoother—from energy levels to mood,” she explains.

Her post-workout shakes have become her signature, showing that gut health and fitness recovery don’t have to be separate goals. With the right ingredients, they can go hand in hand.
