Simple mantra: “What you eat shapes your wellness,” says holistic nutrition coach Evelyn Ray. Her battle with inflammation and persistent tiredness set off her path for a better way of living.
Her general well-being and energy levels improved dramatically once she switched to anti-inflammatory foods.
Evelyn’s preferred foods then are Leafy greens such as kale and spinach rank first on her list. “They’re crammed with vitamins and antioxidants meant to fight inflammation,” Evelyn says.
She also stresses the value of mackerel and salmon, two fatty foods. Packed with omega-3 fatty acids, they can drastically lower body’s inflammation indicators.
Another favorite are nuts and seeds including flaxseeds and almonds. Evelyn advises putting flaxseeds into yogurt or smoothies. “It’s a simple approach to get those healthy fats without much work,” she explains.
She also emphasizes the wonder of turmeric: “This golden spice changes everything. The active component, curcumin, is really amazing. Evelyn usually gives her soups and teas a little kick.
Finally, she stresses including vibrant foods like berries. Evelyn says, “My favorite are blueberries.” Regarding combating inflammation, “they are small but powerful.”
Evelyn thinks that include these items as a mainstay in your diet not only helps to lower inflammation but also encourages a vivid and active life. As she says, “Little changes can have major effects.”
