Ideas for a High-Fiber Vegan Diet for Novices Alexa Dawn

Laughing, Alexa Dawn continues, “Fiber is your friend.” Alexa is a vegan lifestyle advocate and dietitian working to make plant-based eating available to everyone, especially novices.

Usually starting with a large bowl of oatmeal, breakfast in Alexa’s kitchen is “I toss flaxseeds, chia seeds, and a liberal coating of fresh fruit. She believes it’s filling and keeps your digestive system in good working order.

Lunch, with her preferred black bean and sweet potato tacos, is equally nouraging. Alexa says, “The bean fiber and the natural sweetness of the roasted sweet potatoes make it a perfect combination.” She adds extra fiber from whole-grain tortillas.

Alexa enjoys her stir-fry loaded with vegetables for dinner. Tossing broccoli, snap peas, carrots, and tofu in a basic soy-ginger sauce, I also use Present it over quinoa or brown rice, and you have a meal filled with taste and great fiber.

Alexa stresses the need of beginning small and working on growth. “Incorporate one high-fiber meal a day; soon it will become second nature,” she counsels.
Alexa makes changing to a high-fiber vegan diet both realistic and fun with her sensible advice and great recipes.
