Clara Bennett’s Favorite Mediterranean Desserts for Clean Eating

Passionate home baker Clara Bennett has perfected the technique of making simple Mediterranean delicacies. “I’m all about using actual, healthy foods,” she explains. ” Mediterranean food presents a lot of naturally sweet choices.”

Almond flour orange cake is her all-time favourite treat. Honey is the sweetener used in this naturally gluten-free cake. It smells so good and fresh orange zest makes it delightful, Clara says.

Her Greek yogurt and honey parfaits are still quite popular. She advises layer Greek yogurt with a drizzle of honey then top with chopped pistachios and fresh berries. It seems like a pleasure, light and creamy.

Another thing Clara enjoys creating are walnut and fig bars. “Blend walnuts, figs that have been dried, and a little cinnamon.

She advises press the mixture into a pan, refrigerate, then cut into bars. “They are ideal for a sweet nibble following dinner.

“Mediterranean desserts show you you don’t need processed sugar to produce something really satisfying,” Clara says. “It’s all about allowing the inherent tastes to blossom.
