Bella Ross’ Favorite Low-Carb, High-Protein Breakfast Ideas

Bella Ross swore by low-carb, high-protein breakfasts when it came to powering her hectic mornings. Bella says she has tried several kinds of breakfast foods but they keep her refreshed without the mid-morning droop.

Her three most often used ideas are listed here:

Cups Made with Egg Muffins: Bella’s weekday savior is packed with protein and simple advance preparation egg muffin cups.

She stuffs chopped spinach, diced bell peppers, cooked turkey bacon, beaten eggs onto a muffin tray. “You have breakfast for the whole week when you bake them at 375°F for roughly twenty minutes,” she says. For a dose of good fats, team with half an avocado.

Greek Yogurt Parfait: Bella suggests a low-carb Greek yogurt parfait for people seeking something quick and reviving.

“I use plain, unsweeteled Greek yogurt and add a handful of fresh berries, some chia seeds, and a sprinkle of unsweetened coconut flakes,” she says. The end effect is a delicious, creamy delicacy that stays low on carbohydrates but seems decadent.

Breakfast Bowl Made From Zucchini Noodles: Bella comments, “This one is a little unorthodox but it’s fantastic.”

She sautés olive oil, garlic, and a little salt spiralized zucchini noodles, then tops them with two sunny-side-up eggs and parmesan. “It’s like a savory breakfast pasta—without the carbohydrates.”

Bella thinks that beginning the day with well balanced, nutrient-dense foods sets the tone for better decisions all through the day. “It’s all about discovering what suits you and consistent application of that. For me every time, these breakfasts work wonders.
